Doors and windows are lockable, double-glazed and whilst UPVC is standard wooden frames can be quoted where preferred. Security systems can also be installed.

Each highly insulated (we cannot stress this enough!) garden room will be handmade by our skilled crafts people in our workshops near the Oxfordshire/Buckinghamshire border. Thermowood and other high-quality timber such as cedar can be used for cladding the garden room or a more utilitarian material such as feather boards can be utilised (a more rustic wood cladding that may suit a workshop or rural setting); the timbers we use are extremely durable, strong and readily maintained (from near-zero maintenance alternatives to traditional materials that can be stained or oiled to extend their life).

Many property owners would like to find out if they have to get garden buildings planning permission from their local authority before ordering and we can ensure that their building structure will conform to the relevant legal regulations right from the start of our working together. The garden room is considered a permitted development if the height and size is within the specified limits.
However, if the garden building is very large or used for commercial purposes, a separate application for permission may be required. Each garden building design can be reviewed by an expert in this field where a customer does not have their own professional advisor.
